British Council India has announced up to 67 full tuition fee GREAT Education scholarships for the 2019 academic year in partnership with 25 UK universities. Worth over GBP 1 million, the scholarships comprise 40 postgraduate and 27 undergraduate awards at universities across the UK, covering a broad range of subjects - from art and design to engineering, law, and management. The British Council wants the best and brightest students from across India to apply.
The GREAT Britain Campaign is the UK government’s initiative to promote the UK internationally as a GREAT place to visit, study and do business. The British Council India is a partner in the campaign and the scholarships are jointly funded by the GREAT Campaign and the UK higher education institutions:
- Sheffield Hallam University
- Anglia Ruskin University
- University of Salford
- Liverpool John Moores University
- Birmingham City University
- Prospective undergraduate and postgraduate, full-time students who will enrol in January 2019
- The student must be an Indian passport holder.
- The student must check the eligibility criteria directly with the listed university they are applying to.
Selected students will receive 100% tuition fee waiver and will be joining almost 500,000 international students from 200 countries who choose a world-class UK education each year. Such diversity and international connections bring new approaches and fresh thinking.

Step 3: Email to the contact person given in the guide of respective university
Step 4: Candidates will be informed by individual universities on the results of their applications
